This antique steam toy engine has a working wheel and whistle. Fill the tank with water and light a candle under the tank to create steam to run the engine.
According to an old catalog page we found, it can be used to power other toys using a belt around the larger wheel.
While this toy is still in working condition, it does show its age; there are some burn marks around the base of the tank, the bed is fairly scratched up, and a few places show touches of rust.

This exquisite plaster sphinx straight from King Tuts Tomb, came to us from the LaPorte County Theatre. We purchased this piece from a woman who bought it at auction when the theatre was torn down in the early 70’s. It was in terrible shape when we got it. We hired a plaster restorer to make repairs. We added the new finish to match its original exactly.
