Robert Jerome Kopnicky has over 20 years experience in restoration. The items listed above are only a small sample of the work he has done over the years. Working in a steel mill for 32 years, Robert gained experience in metal work and fabrication. He soon became an expert in those fields which led to 3 patents and 14 needed inventions. Robert combined his creativity and mechanical skills with his love of antiques and began to restore antique metal pieces not only for his enjoyment, but because there was a need for it. After he retired, Robert built the building he now uses for Vintage Lighting, Inc. The barn is fully featured to meet all restoration needs including: painting, wiring, welding, brazing, fabrication, sandblasting, and much more. Robert loves restoration with the fabrication of missing parts. The more difficult the job, the more excited he is to do it.
